Day Thirteen Warsaw
Day thirteen 920am
1/6/07
Warsaw is grey! And old eastern bloc looking.
921am
110pm
Sitting in the new law school in warsaw.
We walked around old town for a while and visited many many churches, seemingly always at the reception of the eucharist... It was crazy. Almost as if I was being shown {--} something.
At one church we came upon, the church had processed after mass across the street. Where polish soldiers were serving a tastey soup for free. Apparently the church has some sort of affiliation with the military (there were medals on the wall behind the altar).
We had a hot drink while we've been lounging and now we're off to get food.

118pm
550pm
I had a sandwich from the basement of the law school for four zlts and a coke for four... Roughly coming out to two euro or two fifty us.
Anna had a meal at vega (a pseudo indian veggie place for 9 zlts.) a full meal! For three US.
Afterwards we walked around some more (no more churches as we had by this time hit perhaps more than 10) grabbed a polish doughnut with rose filling, grabbed a two liter of an okay grapefruit soda for about five zlt total. Crazy cheap.
Then we headed over to anna's friend's place and picked up my big bag, which I had left earlier, had some tea with him, caught a ride and are now waiting while on the bus to pulawy (poo-ahv-eh).
:-)
